- Goat leather - 100% recycled polyester - Nylon thread Lanolin is the natural oil in goat leather that makes it supple. No matter how you use your gloves, the lanolin will eventually leave the leather. You’ll want to condition your gloves occasionally, and Vermont Glove recommends applying Fiebing’s Neatsfoot Oil as follows: - Apply oil to gloves or mittens. This can be done while you’re wearing them - Rub thoroughly until the oil has saturated the surface and seams - Repeat any time the leather feels dry - Conditioning the gloves will make the leather darker in color If you’re a big skier or work underwater, you’ll also want to add a waterproofing agent to your gloves: - Condition your gloves first - Warm your gloves in a 200º oven for 1 minute - Rub beeswax waterproofer all over warm gloves - Put gloves back in the oven for 1 minute - Repeat the wax/oven cycle at least 3 times
