Heng Balance Lamp

**Half lamp, half art — the magnetic sphere lamp** This conversation-starting lamp is unlike any light fixture we’ve seen before and looks like something you might find hanging next to an Alexander Calder piece in the MoMA. Well, that’s actually not too far off — the lamp won a Red Dot Award in 2016, a huge accolade for any sleekly designed product. The lamp features two magnetic spheres (anchored by string) that when placed together in the center of the oval frame, trigger the light to turn on. The light itself emanates from the interior of the frame and casts a soft illuminating glow.
