Details: **The SL-130x jean utilizes a heavyweight 17oz. indigo selvedge denim which is woven exclusively for 3sixteen by Kuroki Mills**
Unlike 3Sixteens flagship 14.5oz. fabric, this heavyweight denim has a crunchy and rough hand which will result in quicker fading. The ST cut is a slim fit with a taper from the thigh to the knee, ending with a small leg opening.
The Denim: 3Sixteen works with the Okayama-based Kuroki Millsone of the most famous denim mills in Japan to produce their own custom fabric. You wont find their fabrics on any other jean anywhere.
- 100% Zimbabwe cotton
- Pure indigo dyed warp yarn
- Inner face has a brushed feel for extreme comfort
- Special weft yarns make breaking in more comfortable
#The Waistband: 3Sixteen utilizes a continuous tucked chain stitch waistband. Instead of terminating the chain stitch and finishing with a single needle, they run the chain stitch off the waistband and then tuck it in which prevents it from unraveling over time.
#The Patch: Patches are made by Tanner Goods from Portland, OR. Theyre made with a heavyweight, natural English Bridle leather that will ages richly over time just as the denim.
# Selvedge: No flashy details here. The selvedge on the coin pocket and fly is hidden. These small touches not only increase the quality of the jean, but reinforce to customers that their jeans were thoughtfully put together.
# The Pocketbags: Often overlooked, pocket bags take a lot of wear and tear carrying your daily essentials. 3Sixteen use a 100% cotton, 8oz twill fabric which will withstand more abuse that almost any other jean on the market.
