A passion project for Point72 product designer, Mark Edelsberg, Future Forms was created to document the very best of industrial design in consumer electronics—thriving today as part shop, part digital museum for all things space-age and nostalgic tech. Rightly claiming its spot on the roster is the Sanyo Decorator Clock Radio, which has a futuristic spherical silhouette that swivels on the hanging base. Fun fact: while this clock radio is referred to as the “Decorator” in U.S. markets, it was originally released as the “Fashion” Clock Radio in Japan.
