**What is Stone Paper**
Ogami notebooks are made of innovative paper stock called Repap ("paper" spelled backwards), which does not contain any tree pulp. Given the properties of this paper, the pages are tougher (tear-resistant!), bleach free, and recyclable.
**The Process**
Ogami uses Calcium Carbonate as the primary component and combines it with water and non-toxic resins. Calcium Carbonate is one of the most abundant resources availble, and is the chief mineral in chalk, limestone, and seashells. This pulp free, non-toxic process creates a revolutionary material that is recyclable, but more importantly, has premium properties to deliver a better writing experience.
