Chromexcel Watch Band

$13.50 $45.00

*FFF took the design of The Original Cordovan Button-Stud Watchband, and added the ability to adjust the band to fit your wrist or preferred wear style, while maintaining the comfort, simplicity, and innovative design of the original.*

*FEATURES:*

- Adjustable length button-stud band fits virtually all wrist sizes with over 2 inches of adjustment.

- Band design hides button-stud adjustment holes behind watch face.

- USA made, low profile screw-back button studs

*LEATHER:*

- Chromexcel tanned leathers stretch markedly: an average sized bracelet can easily be stretched almost 3/4 of an inch with limited force. Chromexcel often takes on a slightly lighter color when stretched.

*INSTALLATION:*

Your first inclination, with a shiny new watchband, is to take it out of the box and slide it through your watch face, just as you always do with a NATO band: Tag end first. However, pulling the band all the way through the springbars, or removing your band by pulling on the stud end can result in a scuff from a sharp-edged watch case. Stay (so) fresh and (so) clean (clean):

1. Unscrew and remove the button-stud from the band. This is the 'stud end'; the other end (with the hole that goes over the stud) is the 'tag end'.

2. Insert the stud end between the springbar and the case on the 12 o'clock position.

3. Thread the band through and back out the 6 o'clock springbar, pulling very little of the tag end through, usually under 1 inch is sufficient.

4. Re-attach the button-stud to the band.

5. Note that this method keeps the visible parts of your new watchband from passing between the springbar and the case. Aren't you glad you read this?

6. To wear the band as intended, adjust as needed so that the button-stud itself falls on the inside of your wrist, rather than on the bottom of your wrist (pulse point) as is typical with standard watchbands.

7. To remove the band, unscrew the button stud and pull the stud end back through the case. Make sure to put the stud back on the band, or it will join your lost wallet, socks, and keys in no time.
