**A contemporary folk artist who isn't afraid to do things the old-fashioned way**

It’s not always easy to stay put at your desk when the outdoors and adventure are calling, but the Grand Canyon by John Fellows paperweight can help ease the pain. The domed crystal gives you a magnified look at the detail of Fellows’ custom artwork.

Being such a respected name in the printmaking world, we were honored when John Fellows agreed to create a custom Grand Canyon print for Huckberry to celebrate the National Park Centennial this year. His process is like no other: he prints on found paper using hand-carved linoleum blocks, then cuts out the designs and collages them together, often on backgrounds of found maps or postcards, to create truly unique prints. He isn’t afraid to do things the hard way, which is something we tend to respect around here.
