Don’t call it a reissue, the Mountain Moc 917 GTX from Danner is a whole shoe in more ways than one. While definitively inspired by the Canoe Moc of old, this has been re-engineered to the highest degree. The waterproof suede uppers follow the classic silhouette of a moccasin but feature a GORE-TEX waterproof liner. This is built for the city or the backcountry jaunt thanks to the Vibram® 917 outsole that has an XS Trek compound for grip across concrete or slick trails.
