**A made-in-USA timepiece that pays tribute to American icon Jim Thorpe**

Jim Thorpe, also known by his Sac and Fox name, Wa-Tho-Huk, or “Bright path the lightning makes as it goes across the sky,” was a celebrated pentathlete and decathlete, a professional football, baseball, and basketball player, and a lifelong activist for Native rights who overcame myriad obstacles levied against him due to his Indigenous heritage. He was the first Native to win gold for the US, winning gold medals in both the pentathlon and decathlon at the 1912 Summer Olympics. This limited edition 45 mm Runwell Automatic, in partnership with Thorpe’s family, pays homage to one of the greatest athletes of all time.
