The original Apron and Bag Company was a manufacturer of factory aprons and bags owned and operated by Stanley Grodzki in New York. In 2008, Chris Grodzki, inspired by his grandfather and the products he made, re-established Stanley & Sons Apron and Bag Company. Every apron and bag is built to last right here in the USA with careful attention paid to detail and construction. The distinctive flavor of Basil Hayden’s® is inspired by the legend of a family recipe said to date back to 1796 when Master Distiller Basil Hayden Sr. broke the traditional rules of bourbon by mixing the spiciness of rye with the smoothness of corn to create a light-bodied and smooth bourbon, perfect for sipping. Basil Hayden's® is still a small batch bourbon, but with broader appeal, and, just as it was in 1796, the only 'rule' to enjoying this Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey is that it should be done responsibly.
