White Mammoth Tusk + Turquoise Pocket Knife

$51.00 $170.00

**This unique knife from Santa Fe Stoneworks is available only on Huckberry and once they’re gone, they’re gone for good**

The turquoise inlays are a sight to behold, but what really steals the show is the mammoth tusk. Mammoths roamed the Earth hundreds of thousands of years ago all the way up to the time of early humans. Santa Fe Stoneworks managed to get their hands on some mammoth tusks and were considerate enough to make us some custom knives out of their limited supply. These knives are functional and durable pieces of art, and once they’re gone, they’re gone, so snag one while you can (read: before we buy them all for ourselves).

*Natural, fossilized bone has color variation and falls somewhere between a creamy white to a walnut brown, with variations within and between every piece. Your knife may not be exactly as the one pictured above, but one thing is for certain: it will be truly one of a kind.*

about
Woolly Mammoth tusks are anywhere from 10,000 to 200,000 years old and are found in Arctic regions throughout the world where the permafrost has preserved the bones. Tan, brown and even blue hues are the result of thousands of years of mineralization. The exact hue of any given tusk depends on the mineral makeup of the soil surrounding the tusks.
